UPDATE: Luka Modric will need more time to recover

Just when it was thought that Modric was going to come back two or three weeks from now, it has been reported that the Croatian midfielder will need another month to completely heal the muscle injury he picked up during Croatia's match against Italy.

Apparently, Modric wants to get the green light from every Doctor he's visited in order to prevent any potential setbacks on his re-adaptation to the squad. While it's true that Real Madrid need to recover him as soon as possible, this is a good decision by Modric, who should be able to play in the return leg against Schalke 04 and also in Real Madrid's visit to the Camp Nou on March 22nd.

Some fans have pointed out Modric's injury as the main reason behind Real Madrid's dip in form. His consistency in the midfield has surely been missed by Ancelotti and the whole coaching staff, but the good news is Modric will be available right when the season will be on the line.
