Brazilian right-back is Real Madrid and FC Barcelona's main target for this summer

Real Madrid want to add some depth to the right-back position. According to Marca, FC Porto's defender Danilo is one of the club's main targets for next summer. His contract with Porto expires in 2016 and could cost €25 million, something affordable for Real Madrid but a bit too expensive if he is going to be Carvajal's backup.

One way or another, this rumor does make sense. Arbeloa is not getting any better and he is not a reliable player anymore, so to find a Carvajal-replacement should be a priority for Real Madrid. Considering how short the market for that position is, Danilo is one of the options that should definitely be considered.

Marca also report that FC Barcelona are interested in signing him as well, although he would not be able to feature for the Catalan club until January, 2016. Real Madrid have a good relationship with FC Porto and Casemiro, who is playing on loan there, could play a big part on this transfer.
