Pepe rejoins Real Madrid's squad in training

Good news for Carlo Ancelotti, as he has recovered one of his two starting center-backs from injury. Pepe completed Thursday's training session with the rest of his teammates, meaning tht he could try to return to the pitch this next Saturday, when Real Madrid host Deportivo at the Santiao Bernabéu.

Varane and Nacho were the replacements for Pepe and Ramos, and they completed a very mediocre performance against Atlético de Madrid -- though that could be said about their teammates as well --. It will be very important for Ancelotti to have Pepe back. The Portuguese defender has been playing great this season, probably even better than Ramos, and while he could need some time to regain his best condition, he will be an upgrade.

Considering how thin Real's defensive line is, Ancelotti will most likely use Pepe this Saturday, although he could also play it safe and leave him on the bench to avoid any potential setbacks.
