Things are not working out well for Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo lately. While the goalkeeper completed a shaky performance against Atlético and got whistled during Real's home win to Deportivo, Ronaldo is going through a serious dip in form.
According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, both of them are in a really low mood right now. Inda even reported during Monday's Chiringuito de Jugones that Casillas admitted that Saturday was the worst day of his career as a footballer.
Iker Casillas confessed on the dressing room that this game against Deportivo had been the worst day of his career. That's exactly what he said, literally. He was shocked. Casillas knew that the fans were going to whistle, but to see that the fans focused that much on him surprised him a lot. He did not understand it.
Inda also said that Ronaldo is looking forward to score against Schalke in order to end his slump.
