- Real Madrid will play their postponed league game against Sevilla CF on Wednesday. Their coach, Unai Emery, told the press yesterday that they will do their best to bring the points to Sevilla, but that they are aware that it will be very hard as the crisis in Madrid is over. Ever Banega will not feature in the Bernabéu as he is banned after having been booked five times in La Liga. The participation of Beto, their usual starting goalkeeper, is questionable, as he abandoned yesterday's game against Espanyol in pain.
- Los Blancos had today their second training session to prepare Wednesday's game. Gareth Bale and Fabio Coentrao did not practice with their partners, as they stayed in the gym together with Pepe and Luka Modric, who are still recovering from their injuries. However, no one has reported that Bale or Coentrao have any physical problems and, therefore, they should be ready to play against Sevilla.
- After Sergio Ramos clearly stated on Saturday that all the rumors regarding his contract extension that had been reported earlier were false and that he can only picture himself wearing the white T-shirt in the future, the Spanish newspaper ABC report today that the #4 and our president Florentino Pérez have agreed to work on this extension after the season ends.
