The rumors about José Luis Gayà will not stop any time soon. This Saturday, As report that Real Madrid have talked with Gayà's inner circle to discuss a potential transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu. According to that same report, Valencia made a move right after that and offered the player a big contract extension.
As Managing Madrid told last month, Real Madrid will not pay Gayà's buyout clause if Valencia refuse to negotiate, and that's what will likely happen. That has been Florentino Pérez's behavior since he became Real Madrid's President, as he always wanted the selling team to approve and negotiate the transfer.
Expect Gayà's agents to use these rumors to get that big contract extension for the player. If that happens, Real Madrid will be in a much difficult position to sign the player, so Los Blancos will likely need to find another left back able to replace Fàbio Coentrao this summer.
