It took Martin Ødegaard three games to score his first goal for Real Madrid Castilla. The Norwegian sensation earned his team the lead against Barakaldo barely 15 minutes after the match kicked-off.

Ødegaard is hoping to make his debut with the first team during the return leg against Schalke 04. While it will not be easy for him to start that match, Ancelotti could give Ødegaard some minutes considering the big lead his team managed to get at the Veltins Arena.
If so, Ødegaard would be the youngest player to ever feature in a Champions League match. If Real Madrid get a 2-0 lead at the Bernabéu, the Norwegian player will surely come in just to achieve that record. Meanwhile, Castilla are leading their group in the Segunda División B hoping to promote to Segunda.
