26 minutes in, Carlo Ancelotti has been forced to take both Sergio Ramos and James Rodríguez off the pitch. The Colombian attacker got his team the lead early on but he will now be doubtful for Saturday's Derby against Atlético de Madrid.
Are these two injuries related to a lack of rotation or more to a bad warm-up routine? Nobody knows, but Carlo Ancelotti will surely be scratching his head after missing both Ramos and James for the Derby. Now, Nacho and Jesé -- or another midfielder -- will have to step their game up to replace these two starters, and Atlético de Madrid doesn't seem like the best team to experiment.
Further updates on Ramos and James' injuries should be released tomorrow, when the two players will get some tests on their respective injuries that will tell how much time they will miss to recover. Bad news for Ancelotti and his coaching staff.
