Florentino Pérez: "Ancelotti will be Real Madrid's coach no matter what"

Back in 2013, Florentino Pérez held a press conference to publicly show his support to José Mourinho. Real Madrid were not playing well and Marca had reported that the Portuguese coach had his back against the wall, facing Pérez's axe. The President denied Marca's report, something that happened this Thursday as well, when the Spanish diary had on their front page that Ancelotti will be sacked if his team lose big at the Camp Nou.

This press conference is to address some informations that have nothing to do with reality. We are a very demanding club, but our players and our coach have our full confidence. Ancelotti will be Real Madrid's coach no matter what happens during the next couple of weeks. The fans need to support the team and I believe they were confused by some wrong reports.

The President asked the fans to support "each one of the players" when asked about Casillas, Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale, also stating that the club "does not talk about extensions with players or coaches during the season".

Florentino Pérez does not take central stage very often, so it was surprising to see him denying Marca's front page. Anyway, it seems that Carlo Ancelotti will end the season as Real Madrid's coach.
