Real Madrid is interested in Luciano Vietto

That is, at least, what his agent says.

Although he missed a very clear chance in front of Casillas by unfortunately slipping down just when he was reaching Real Madrid's box, Luciano Vietto left an extraordinary performance in the Bernabéu last Sunday. His impact on the game when he was subbed in around the sixtieth minute was crucial for Villarreal to tie the game, and many Real Madrid fans that had not seen him play before were stunned by his amazing skills, that had enabled him to make two world class centerbacks as Pepe or Varane go nuts in very few minutes.

But apparently, the fans were not the only ones that were dazzled by Vietto's performance. Many people in Spanish mass media have been claiming since Sunday that Real Madrid's managing board, including president Florentino Pérez, were impressed by Vietto's show in the Bernabéu and might have shown an interest in the player, to bring him in as a backup for Karim Benzema or even for a more important role. Spanish newspaper As have the story on their frontpage today, as the player's agent, Jorge Cyterszpiler, has claimed that "Real Madrid likes Vietto very much".

Cyterszpiler also claims that Vietto will not likely stay in Villarreal in the end of the season and, according to As, Real Madrid is not the only team to have shown its interest on the player, since Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool are also keen on signing him. However, Vietto is not the only striker to have been linked to Real Madrid recently, as other sources that have proven their value in many occasions have recently brought up the name of Lyon's star Alexandre Lacazette.
