Ramos' absence might not be Real Madrid's biggest problem, but Varane's performances during these past few weeks have not been encouraging either. In any case, Sergio Ramos is almost ready to make his return to Real's lineup after completing Sunday's training session with his teammates.
While he shouldn't be available nor needed for Tuesday's Champions League match against Schalke, Ramos will start in March 22nd's El Clásico unless something shocking happens. That way, he could get some minutes next weekend when Real Madrid host Levante to see if his muscle has healed properly.
Ramos suffered this injury after trying to rush his return to the pitch when he suffered some problems on his muscle during the first game of the FIFA Club World Cup against Cruz Azul. He then planned to rest during the first games of 2015 but Pepe's rib injury forced him to play until he definitely tore his hamstring.
