Real Madrid's appeal has been accepted. The yellow card Cristiano Ronaldo saw against Rayo Vallecano has been removed and the Portuguese star will be playing this Saturday when Los Blancos host Eibar.

Even though Ronaldo could have used this suspension to rest and ensure his presence on Real's next tough matches against Sevilla, Celta or Valencia, he wanted to be part of the lineup and gain some momentum ahead of the Champions League tie against Atlético de Madrid.
This is obviously a good decision taken by the Spanish committee, as Ronaldo clearly did not dive intentionally and was brought down by the Rayo defender Antonio Amaya. That way, Ancelotti will be able to start the BBC at the Bernabéu, although players like Jesé or Chicharito could use some minutes to get in form too.
