Ancelotti: "It's an honor to play against Simeone but also a problem"

Every match is a different challenge. One time we lost because of set pieces, the last time we lost because of an attitude problem. it's hard to say what has happened the last few times, but this will be a different tie, we don't need to win tomorrow and the most important thing for us is to qualify to the next round.

Ancelotti will finally be able count on every player on the roster.

Everybody is available, I will make my decision about the lineup tomorrow, but our formation will be the usual one. We don't have a problem with our tactics, but it's important to play together at all times, and obviously with the right attitude and courage to play this kind of game.

Considering everybody is available, there's not need to start a player who isn't available, and Bale is no exception.

Bale won't play if he's not at 100% because our roster is fresh and ready. But he's at 100% [laughs]. He had a fantastic season last year and this one has been good so far. The key for him last season was to score in all Finals we played, we are hoping to reach the Final this season and he will be an important player in it too.

Ancelotti knows what Real Madrid's goal is.

Our goal is to reach the Semifinals, but our dream is to win La Undécima. We will try to win, but we can go through with two draws, so we are not obsessed with winning tomorrow.

The Itlaian coach shared some thoughts on the goal Ramos scored in Lisbon.

This is an unforgettable memory, it was a very important trophy for the club and for us. But this is the past and we are focused on winning another one now.

There is no favorite, Ancelotti says.

This is a very competed tie, so it is all even in terms of the odds, but this doesn't change our mentality and attitude which is playing the game the way that allows our players to optimize their skills. Courage and personality will be very important for us. It's an honor to play against Simeone but also a problem. Their style and defensive skills will be very difficult for us but they are not a black beast for us.

Real's coach also discussed Real's chances at La Liga and the Champions League.

I did not watch Barcelona's game, I was in the cinema. We are happy to fight for these two competitions, we have a disadvantage in La Liga but odds are even in the Champions League.
