Real Madrid squad named for the Liga BBVA game against Málaga

Real Madrid released the squad list for the upcoming Liga BBVA game against Málaga.

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco.
Defenders: Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Carvajal, Arbeloa and Nacho.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Bale, Lucas Silva, Modric, Isco and Illarra.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Chicharito and Jesé.

A few surprises there. Coentrao and Sami Khedira are out of this match even though the Portuguese player was expected to fill Marcelo's shoes for the return leg of the UEFA Champions League against Atlético de Madrid. Karim Benzema has small problems on his knee and will also sit this one out.

It will be interesting to see what Ancelotti plans to do with his left-back. Marcelo will not be available against Atlético and the Italian coach apparently doesn't want to start Coentrao either. Therefore, expect either Arbeloa or Nacho to play there, although some Real Madrid fans could want to see Gareth Bale playing that position in case of urgency.
