Gareth Bale will likely miss the return leg of the UEFA Champions League after leaving the match against Málaga on the third minute. There was no contact involved, meaning that Bale probably did not warm up properly. He walked out of the pitch but could barely walk, and that's not a positive sign towards his potential presence in the lineup against Atlético de Madrid.

It will be very interesting to see how Ancelotti replaces Bale next Wednesday if needed. Benzema will likely recover from his knee problems in time, so the Italian coach might decide to start Isco just like today.
