Bad news won't stop for Real Madrid. After Gareth Bale and Luka Modric had their respective injuries confirmed, now it's Karim Benzema the one player who will not be able to feature in Wednesday's decisive match against Atlético de Madrid, according to Jugones.

Carlo Ancelotti was optimistic with Benzema's chances when he was asked during the pre-Málaga press conference this last Friday. The Italian coach said that Benzema was just getting ready for Wednesday's clash and therefore needed some rest. The striker then sit out the Málaga game, but hasn't been able to rejoin the squad just two days ahead of the Derby.
If Benzema is finally out of said game, either Chicharito Hernández or Jesé Rodríguez will fill his shoes. If Ancelotti decides to keep Cristiano Ronaldo playing wide, the Mexican will feature, and that way Jesé would stay on the bench as a potential game-changer for Los Blancos.
