When he was asked about the substitutions he would do to replace Marcelo, Modric, Bale and Benzema, Carlo Ancelotti neither confirmed nor denied any of them:

I will configure a lineup with players that I trust, that are fresh, in a good condition, and that will for sure deliver.

Later on, he did not answer whether Varane would start or not, and stressed that his goal is to repeat all the things the team did well in the first half of the first leg. Nevertheless, he confirmed that the tactics would not change:

The strategy will not change. We will choose the best possible lineup to win. I am not going to give you the lineup today, since I have not told it to the players either yet.

Ancelotti even claimed that this is not his hardest game since he took over Real Madrid:

Attempting a comeback would have been harder, like we had to do in the Copa del Rey. We need to win against Atlético de Madrid in the Bernabéu, and we will do our best to achieve that.

When asked if Coentrao and Khedira deserve to play tomorrow:

All players in the roster have been working a lot and would deserve to play.

About Benzema's injury:

There has been no mistake. On Friday, it seemed that he would be fine, but the work he has been doing since back then has not been good enough for him to recover from his injury.

When asked about a possible penalty shoot-out:

We are ready for everything, even for that, but practicing for a penalty shoot-out is extremely hard, because you can't reproduce the conditions in which it is actually held in the training field.

About the team's mental condition:

We are motivated, our mental condition is optimal right now. We are just as motivated as the fans about tomorrow's game and about winning a second Champions League.
