Carlo Ancelotti will give Iker Casillas a rest versus Almeria on Wednesday and will start Keylor Navas in his place, this according to Cadena Ser. Given Casilla's pretty heavy workload and slightly questionable attempt on the first Celta Vigo goal, plus Navas' relative lack of playing time, this move makes a good amount of sense - not to mention that Almeria is a pretty safe option to rotate against.
Navas has only played in eight total matches this season having kept a clean sheet in four of them (though he wasn't particularly tested in a couple of those). His last start was against Eibar on March 11, a 3-0 victory for Real Madrid. Madrid has a 6-1-1 record with him in goal and will look to add a seventh victory in its league chase of Barcelona.
This could be the last chance for Keylor Navas to feature this season, given that Real will have plenty of things at stake in the upcoming matches.
