Will Real Madrid be able to sign and register Danilo and other players this summer? That was the main question to ask right after Cadena SER reported that FIFA planned to ban both Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid from making any signings during the next two years was.
Club sources told Managing Madrid that SER's report was surprising in the sense that Real Madrid have not received a single input indicating that a ban from FIFA is coming. The club is confident about having a solid defense with the statement released last January, and they believe they have taken care of things the right way.
But even if FIFA finally decide to ban Real Madrid, Los Blancos will appeal and that would delay the punishment, allowing the club to make signings and register new players during the summer transfer window.
Report: Madrid will be able to sign players this summer even if FIFA ban goes through. It would only be effective for next winter's window.

After that, and again, if the ban is confirmed, Real Madrid could face one year without making signings and registering new players. The roster would stay intact from August 2015 to at least January 2017, first window in which Real would be able to sign again.
