Iker Casillas' energic reaction to the fans' whistles and boos at the Bernabéu might be accompanied by further consequences regarding Real Madrid's captain. According to Manolo Lama, from the Spanish TV station Cadena Cope, Casillas feels the fans have been unfair to him as "he is being crucified".

Lama has expressed many times his discomfort about the way Real Madrid is treating its captain, and complains that no one from the club has come out to publicly back Casillas. That, as you already know, has not happened, and the latest news seem to point to the opposite direction, as according to Miguel Ángel Díaz, also from Cope, Casillas will play his last match at the Bernabéu next Wednesday, against Juventus.
This would make sense if Real Madrid's #1 is leaving the club next summer, since our only remaining game at the Bernabéu would be the last league game against Getafe, where nothing will be at stake.
