Real Madrid will make an upgrade in the goalkeeper position for the 2015-2016 campaign. Iker Casillas is set to leave the club this summer and Manchester United's David De Gea is the chosen one to replace him in Real Madrid, according to Josep Pedrerol.

De Gea told his inner circle that he wants "to play for Real Madrid no matter what." He doesn't care whether Casillas stays or not. He's sure that he will be the starting goalkeeper for Los Blancos and money will not be a problem. The player said that this is not about money but about a personal challenge.

Other reports from Spain indicated that De Gea would want Casillas to leave before signing his contract with Real Madrid in order to avoid a controversial battle for the starting spot, but Jugones' new report is clear. De Gea wants to sign for Real Madrid no matter what. Real Madrid want to sign De Gea as well, so it seems like a matter of time -- pending agreement between United and Real -- before this move is confirmed.
