David De Gea on a flight to Madrid?

David De Gea has been given a few days off this week, so he decided to fly to Madrid. The Daily Mail reports that De Gea was spotted in a Liverpool-Madrid flight today, something that is not tremendously important given that he was born and raised in Madrid. That's also where his girlfriend -- the famous Spanish singer Edurne -- lives, so it would seem reasonable for De Gea to think about enjoying his spare time in his hometown.

However, British outlets and Manchester United fans alike are wondering about whether he's visiting the Spanish capital to negotiate his move to Real Madrid. This doesn't seem very likely, as Real and United would need to reach an agreements first.

De Gea is reportedly Real Madrid's main target for the next transfer window, and the Spanish goalkeeper has apparently told his inner circle that he wants "to play for Real Madrid no matter what."
