Despite winning the UEFA Champions League and the Copa del Rey in his debut season, Carlo Ancelotti's future in Real Madrid isn't decided yet. The Italian coach and his squad didn't have a fine campaign this time, and the board will make a call about whether Ancelotti will stay or not 10 days from now, right after the Liga BBVA season ends, according to ABC.
Ancelotti has his detractors within Real Madrid's board and some think he should be fired if the club wants to take a step forward. His good relationship with the players and the press would be good arguments to keep him that Real is considering as well.
Not many coaches are able to stay in the Spanish capital after finishing a season empty-handed, but the lack of an obvious replacement might help Ancelotti. Real Madrid would only be interested in Jürgen Klopp if they finally decide to part ways with Ancelotti.
