Ancelotti has decided to call just 19 players up for Real Madrid's away game against Espanyol.
Goalkeepers: Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco.
Defenders: Varane, Pepe, Coentrão, Marcelo, Carvajal and Nacho.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Bale, Lucas Silva, Isco and Illarra.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Chicharito and Jesé.
Arbeloa and Ramos are out of the list, while Kroos and Carvajal have recovered from their small physical problems and were included. This will likely be a good chance to see some of the reserves in action barely some weeks ahead of transfer season, so they could have a last chance of making a big impact and convince the board of keeping them.
However, Ancelotti will likely start his trademark XI, considering all of them are available. Should players like Jesé, Illarra, Silva or Chicharito be given a chance to start? Probably, but Ancelotti will likely keep them on the bench, although the Italian announced that he could give Keylor the nod over Casillas this time.
