It has been widely assumed in the football world that Manchester United starting goalkeeper David De Gea is Real Madrid's number one transfer target this summer with numerous sources reporting that the two sides are courting each other. In today's match versus Arsenal, De Gea picked up a knock, though nothing serious, and was substituted early to an ovation from a crowd that had the feeling that it was the last time they'd be seeing their goalkeeper in United colors.
Following the match, his manager, Louis Van Gaal, had this to say about his Spanish star:
Asked about De Gea and Real, Van Gaal says: "He's Spanish and his girlfriend is Spanish. But he shall not leave easily" (Sky Sports)

With Madrid in need of a new starting goalie and with Untied lining up replacements for the summer, it's almost a foregone conclusion that De Gea will be wearing Real Madrid colors next season. But, the summers are always wild so there'll surely be more talk and drama.
