Martin Ødegaard has had a somewhat shaky season with Real Madrid Castilla after he signed his contract last January. The Norwegian sensation hasn't featured as much as everybody was expecting and hasn't made his debut with the first team, something that could change tomorrow.
Carlo Ancelotti decided to included him on the list for Real Madrid's match against Getafe, meaning that he could be given the chance to feature if the game goes well enough. He should obviously start the game on the bench.
Ødegaard is an attacking midfielder who could also play on the right wing, so his future position in the current 4-3-3 formation is unclear. The Norwegian player is expected to be sent on loan next season, given that Castilla will remain in the Segunda División B. He will complete the whole pre-season with the first team though, in what should be a good experience for him to grow and develop as a player.
