Cristiano Ronaldo publicly supports Carlo Ancelotti

Cristiano Ronaldo is clear. He wants Carlo Ancelotti as his coach next season. Although Ancelotti appears to be on his way out of the club, Ronaldo wanted to share his thoughts on Real's choice by tweeting a picture with who still is his current coach before adding a meaningful "hope we work together next season."

Most likely, Real madrid do not want to hear Ronaldo's opinion, and it would be reasonable to make the final decision regardless of what the players think. James, for instance, said that it would be "tough" so see Ancelotti leaving, but he wasn't as clear as his teammate.

Ronaldo is clearly on the same page as Ancelotti, but this doesn't mean Ancelotti should continue. If the Italian is Real's coach next season it's because he deserves it, not because the players wanted him as their coach.

Either way, it will be interesting to see what Real Madrid decide after hearing so many players opting to keep Ancelotti. Will the board be brave enough to fire Ancelotti even with so many players supporting him? It's quite hard to predict.
