It hasn't been very long since Real Madrid officially announced they were firing Carlo Ancelotti, but known agent Ernesto Bronzetti reported in Rai Sport that Rafael Benítez will be the one replacing Ancelotti in the Spanish capital.
"I am 99% sure that Benítez will be Real's next coach. Berlusconi offered good things to Carlo, but he will wait one year and his return to Milan isn't easy," said Bronzetti.
Benítez still has to play for one spot in next year's edition of the UEFA Champions League next Sunday, when his team will host Lazio needing the three points. That's why the announcement will not be made until next week. As Managing Madrid reported days ago, Benítez will sign for Real Madrid in early June. It will be interesting to see how the Spanish coach adapts to Real Madrid, but the roster will surely be good enough to compete for all three titles. Only time will tell if hiring Benítez was a good choice.
