Napoli have a very tough game ahead that will define their 2014-2015 season. The Italian side will host Lazio on Sunday and they need to get the three points to earn a spot in next year's edition of the UEFA Champions League. Still, President Aurelio De Laurentiis all but confirmed Benítez's departure from the club -- and also his signing for Madrid --.
"Two great seasons under Benítez, we've improved a lot no matter what. I'm not denying anything. His move to Real Madrid? I will comment on that when they announce the deal...", said Napoli's chief.
Both Real Madrid and Benítez will wait until next week to make their deal official, given how important Napoli's next game is. The coach wants to end his tenure with Napoli by getting that spot in the Champions League, but Benítez's boss isn't making things easy for him by speculating about his future. It will all be solved next week.
