Raheem Sterling is determined to leave Liverpool FC this summer. The British wonder kid will have plenty of offers and Real Madrid will likely be among the suitors, according to reports from the islands. Rafa Benítez would like to have Sterling on his roster once he is appointed as Real Madrid's manager, and considering that Sterling has made his intentions quite clear, Los Blancos could probably afford his signing.
However, Sterling is an attacking player and Real Madrid don't need more players on that front. With Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and even Isco or James, Benítez will probably try to add some depth to his midfield line before approaching Sterling.
Sterling is a very good player and it would be smart to sign him if he isn't too expensive. His potential is off the charts and Cristiano Ronaldo isn't getting any younger. Could Real Madrid try to sign Sterling away from Liverpool and prevent him from joining clubs like Manchester City?
