Cristiano Ronaldo isn't too happy with Rafael Benítez's appointment as Real Madrid's coach. At least, that's what Spanish site EcoDiario is reporting this Friday. Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing almost every match ever since he joined Real Madrid, no matter whether he was tired or not. Rafael Benítez has a strong tendency to rotate his players constantly, and that could affect Ronaldo's numbers considerably, so this report is worth considering.
Ronaldo is capable of being such a dominant force statistic-wise because of the number of matches he plays. However, at age 30, the Portuguese player should definitely think about rotating more often from now, and Benítez is the perfect coach on that matter. If Benítez can give Ronaldo some rest while keeping the player's trust, Real Madrid's star should be more ready than ever to play the decisive matches in March and April.
It should be noted that Ronaldo showed his support for Carlo Ancelotti after Real Madrid's last game of the season, saying that he wanted to "work with him" next year. Ronaldo was probably aware of Real's interest in Benítez by that time and wanted to share his thoughts on that.
