Karim Benzema doesn't want to sit out the return leg against Juventus. It appeared that he was going to be able to start in Turin as well, but neither him nor Carlo Ancelotti wanted to take any chances, so he stayed in Madrid. Today, Benzema rejoined the group's training session.

The French will likely get some minutes against Valencia to get in good rhythm for next Wednesday's task against Juventus, as he is not ready to start a match just yet. As Real Madrid confirmed on their Twitter account, Benzema is wearing a fairly big bandage on his knee.

Ancelotti will be looking forward to recover his starting striker considering how strong Juventus looked on defense.
