Even after Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett publicly denied his client's move away from the Spanish capital, Manchester United still are determined to sign Gareth Bale this summer. Louis Van Gaal will be able to spend close to €230 million on signings this summer and Bale is the one player the Red Devils want, according to CaughtOffside.
Even though new signing Memphis Depay plays in Bale's favorite position -- left wing -- United would still want to pair them up in order to compete for next year's Premier League title.
Bale's departure from Real Madrid seems highly unlikely, but it will all likely depend on what the club has in mind. For instance, Ancelotti hasn't been confirmed as next year's coach yet, as the board is waiting to see if the team is able to win any trophies this season. If Real finish the season empty-handed, expect some big changes on the team.
