Rafael Benítez already on his way to Madrid

Rafael Benítez is already flying to Madrid. According to the Spanish reporters who covered Napoli's match against Lazio, Benítez will arrive in Madrid this morning to meet with Florentino Pérez and potentially seal the deal that will give him the coaching spot.

"I'm excited and happy", said Benítez right before taking the plane, although he added that "there are some things that we have to talk about still."

When asked about whether the dream starts now or not, the coach answered "yes."

Benítez will likely be unveiled as Real Madrid's coach this Wednesday. He will be answering a lot of questions from the press right after, and it will be very interesting to see what he has in mind for this Real Madrid squad. He is known to be a defensive-minded coach and he might as well try to shake that reputation off.
