Bad news for Real Madrid's newest right-back. Danilo will miss the 2015 Copa América with an ankle injury that will not keep him out of Real Madrid's pre-season. Danilo was ready to be a starter in the Brazil team will try to win the Copa América, but this injury will force him to stay away from the fields.

Rafa Benítez will not be so sad about this story, though. Danilo's injury isn't serious at all and the right-back will be able to complete the pre-season with his Real Madrid teammates. Other players like James or Marcelo will not arrive in the best of conditions, but this will not happen with Danilo this time.

The former Porto defender will be fighting with Dani Carvajal for a starting spot next season. Carvajal wasn't great during the 2014-2015 campaign and that's why many fans expect Danilo to be Rafa Benítez's starter. Both will have minutes, anyway.
