Chelsea's Diego Costa offered to Real Madrid?

François Gallardo strikes back with more transfer rumors.

Chelsea's striker Diego Costa was offered to Real Madrid this past week, according to El Chiringuito's François Gallardo. The 'Spanish Tancredi Palmeri' did not explain whether it was Chelsea or Costa's agent who offered the player, which means that you should take this with a big grain of salt.

Chelsea paid €38 million for Diego Costa last summer, and the player is still 26. Costa started the season really well for Mourinho's team but then he struggled with injuries throughout the rest of the campaign. Why would Chelsea give up on him while they try to win a Champions League title? It seems that they are going to sign Falcao, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will sell Costa a year after completing his signing away from Atlético.

This rumor is highly unlikely, as Real Madrid have enough men in the offensive line, given that Cristiano Ronaldo could start playing as a center striker with Rafa Benítez.
