It's never easy to swap players in football, but if you add a third team and yet another player involved, it becomes nearly impossible. However, British journalist Rob Draper reports that Real Madrid and Iker Casillas have sounded out Tottenham Hotspur to see if the London-based club would be interested in the Spanish keeper if Manchester United choose Hugo Lloris as David De Gea's replacement.
In order to get this going, Real Madrid would need to complete the signing of David De Gea first. It shouldn't take long for Real, according to most reports from Spain and England. De Gea is set to join Real Madrid in the upcoming weeks and if United go after Tottenham's Lloris, the Spurs will need to find a new goalkeeper soon.
Casillas is keen on joining a London-based club, but Tottenham Hotspurs might not be interested in his talents, given that they could probably afford a better goalkeeper if they finally part ways with Lloris.
