The Sergio Ramos saga is still going on, as Spanish newspaper AS reports today that Manchester United will offer €60 million to sign the Spanish defender away from Real Madrid. That same piece suggests that the red devils want Ramos to publicly state that he wants to leave the club in order to make the negotiations with Real Madrid easier.

Manchester United are in command here, because Real Madrid want to sign David De Gea from the British club too, meaning that if ultimately they don't accept United's offer for Ramos, De Gea might not be able to join Madrid this summer.

Sergio Ramos has put Real Madrid in a very difficult situation to get the raise he wanted, and while he had a point about deserving more money, his strategy has been so terrible that Pérez might actually sell the Spanish defender in order to send a message to the rest of the roster.
