Just like it happened last summer, the rumors regarding the future of Iker Casillas are one of the favourite topics of Spanish journalists right now. This morning, the news were that Besiktas had made an offer to sign our goalkeeper and captain, and that several other European teams had showed their interest as well. A few minutes ago, Valencia has been brought on the table by Cadena Cope's show El Partido de las Doce:
NOTICIA @partidodelas12: El Valencia ha tratado de fichar a IKER CASILLAS.

As it has been claimed by Joseba Larrañaga's men, the main reason behind Valencia's interest is the recent injury suffered by their goalkeeper Diego Alves, who will not likely be able to play before the year ends. Casillas has reportedly received an offer today from the chés, but he is said to have denied it because he does not want to play for any Spanish club other than Real Madrid.
