That's what the Manchester Evening News is reporting.

Could Karim Benzema leave Real Madrid this summer? His agent is exploring a potential move to Manchester United, according to the Manchester Evening News, and it would not be surprising to see him leaving Real Madrid if Cristiano Ronaldo is going to play as a center-forward.

Rafa Benítez apparently wants to move Cristiano Ronaldo to the center, meaning that Benzema's role within this squad wouldn't be clear. Considering that Real Madrid are trying to complete the deal for David De Gea, expect Manchester United to include Benzema's name in the talks.

Karim Benzema was the perfect striker for Carlo Ancelotti's BBC-system, but if Benítez is planning to change the way this team attacks, the French's importance in this team wouldn't be as big. If Real Madrid decide to sell Benzema, big clubs will definitely be ready to buy the French attacker, so it will all depend on whether Real Madrid are willing to part ways with him or not.
