Martin Ødegaard has a bright future ahead of him. He's only 16 years old and yet he managed to be one of the best players on the field during Norway's match against Sweden yesterday.
Ødegaard showed a lot of composure and his playmaking skills through the right wing and the midfield. Nobody knows what the future holds for him, given that he still has to develop not only as a player but also as a man, meaning that if he gains more weight he could be a great central midfielder and not only the attacking player he is today.
Sources close within Real Madrid told Managing Madrid that coach Rafa Benítez paid close attention to Ødegaard's performance against Sweden. However, he is not thinking about including him on the roster for the 2015-2016 season just yet. One way or another, Ødegaard will complete the pre-season with the rest of his Real Madrid teammates.
