Real Madrid are determined to keep Sergio Ramos around this summer despite all the controversy and fuss over his contract extension, according to Jugones. The defender wants out according to several reports, but Real Madrid still want to work things out and see if they can give Ramos a good contract.

This likely means that Real Madrid's pursuit of David De Gea will not be completed easily. United will feel entitled to keep their goalkeeper too no matter if he walks away for free next year. With Casillas most likely gone, Keylor Navas could be next season's starter with Espanyol's Kiko Casilla as the reserve goalkeeper.

Sergio Ramos and Florentino Pérez have always had a good relationship and they can surely forget what has happened over the last couple of months so Ramos can spend the next season with Real Madrid. One has to wonder if Ramos really wants out of the club, because if he doesn't, he will surely sign an extension.
