The deal between Real Madrid and Iker Casillas which would allow the captain to leave the club and join FC Porto is now broken again, according to Cadena COPE's Paco González.
Apparently, Real Madrid would not want to take any chances with the taxes they would need to pay Casillas if the goalkeeper leaves FC Porto before the end of his potential two-year contract, meaning that they want another kind of deal.
This is the second time this exact same thing happens. Just when everybody is expecting for the official announcement to come out, the deal falls apart and Real Madrid and Iker Casillas have tore-open their talks. Casillas last press conference for Real Madrid was expected to take place this Sunday, but it seems that this could take much longer -- if two months were not enough --. Either way, Casillas will not want to face the wrath of some fans, so he will surely try to find a way out.
