Real Madrid might now give up on Manchester United's David De Gea

David De Gea is now Real Madrid's top priority in the summer transfer market, but things are getting complicated as Manchester United want to include both Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas in the deal. While Real would be willing to add Navas to the package and then sign Kiko Casillas as the reserve goalkeeper, they do not want to ship Sergio Ramos.

That said, Real Madrid are apparently willing to wait one more year, something that would allow De Gea to sign as a free agent, given that he is not going to sign a contract extension with United. Either way, Manchester United will probably be forced to sell this summer once the transfer deadline gets closer if they do not want to lose De Gea for free 12 months from now.

Either way, this transfer saga is not over. Real Madrid are determined to sign the player this summer no matter United's efforts to keep him around.
