Florentino Pérez and Iker Casillas will talk to the press today at 13:00 CET in what will be a proper farewell ceremony for the Real Madrid legend. Casillas got the farewell he wanted on Sunday, but Florentino Pérez wanted to arrange a proper one given how important Casillas was for this club.
Casillas will likely be surrounded by all the trophies he conquered throughout his career with the first team, but nobody knows yet if the fans will be allowed to enter the stadium and say farewell to their captain.
This is definitely a good step forward from what was a sad and lonely ceremony on Sunday morning. Casillas definitely deserved a better tribute and he got one after Pérez insisted. The Spanish goalkeeper will officially sign for FC Porto on Tuesday and then he will travel to Netherlands in order to kick-off Porto's pre-season stage.
