Arsenal FC are interested in signing Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, so much that they are willing to offer €56 million for the French player, according to tomorrow's The Sun. Although Real Madrid would not be keen on selling Benzema, such a big offer could make Florentino Pérez change his mind and buy another striker with that money.

Benzema has been an undeniably good player for Real Madrid, but his lack of consistency when it comes to goalscoring opportunities has raised some questions about his real value in this team. Furthermore, nobody knows whether Benítez's coaching style will suit Benzema's skills, so a big offer for the French player could definitely have some impact on Real's board.

Benzema is determined to stay with Real Madrid unless he's told otherwise, so he will not be forcing his way out of the club, Real Madrid sources told Managing Madrid. It will all depend on Real's decision.
