"Ramos is a great professional and it's good to see how he works day after day. Our President said that he's going to stay and if that happens I'll be the happiest man alive. I think he will be a cornerstone for this team given the motivation he's showing. I spoke to him during the summer and also in Madrid, but we haven't been talking about this particular matter because all I want from him is that he works fine and that's precisely what he's doing. I see our future with him", said Rafa Benítez about Sergio Ramos.
Although Benítez could have been more conclusive and say that Ramos is not going anywhere, that sounds like a confident Rafa Benítez liking his options of having Ramos with the squad next year.
The coach spoke in press conference but did not say anything new. "Ødegaard is a great player but he's still very young. It will be important to make the right decision for his future but it's still very soon for that, our first thoughts about him are very good", said Benítez about the Norwegian sensation.
Benítez did not want to speak about any signings: "It's not easy to improve the squad we have. De Gea plays for Manchester United and I can't talk about him. If we improve our roster even more, I will be happy", he added.
