FIFA 16 announces partnership with Real Madrid

Barcelona had their deal with EA Sports, and so did Valencia. It was about time for Real Madrid to get their players scanned.

Electronic Arts and Real Madrid have signed an exclusive three-year deal making EA SPORTS the official videogame partner of the Spanish club.

FIFA 16 will feature updated 3D head scans of 14 of Real Madrid's most popular players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodríguez and Karim Benzema. Exclusive content will be released throughout the season, including a FIFA 16 player tournament featuring the Real Madrid squad and FIFA 16 experiences at the Bernabéu.

It would have been good to see every player with their head scans like it happens with the Premier League teams, but Real Madrid fans will surely feel happy about having the likes of Isco, Kroos or Carvajal finally updated.

"Our position allows us to be an international focus and our agreement with EA Sports for the next three years proves that," said Emilio Butragueño.

FIFA 16 will launch on September 23rd in North America, September 25th in Europe and the day after in the United Kingdom.
