It seems that Florentino Pérez and Sergio Ramos are working hard to resolve their differences and sign a contract extension that would put an end to the transfer rumors placing Ramos out of the club. The President landed in China and met with the players this Sunday. A report from Marca indicates that Pérez wants Ramos to admit he wants to stay with Real Madrid. If that happens, Real Madrid will improve their offer to extend Ramos' contract, per ABC.

Now, Ramos is a man of pride. He most likely wants Real Madrid to send that improved offer, sign it and then get it all over with. However, Pérez knows how important it would be to restore Ramos' reputation within Real's fanbase after this transfer saga.

Rafa Benítez himself said that Pérez told him that he "is going to talk with Ramos" while the team is in China this week facing Inter Milan and AC Milan.
