Real Madrid are ready to complete the signing of Jesús Vallejp in the upcoming days, sources told Managing Madrid. The defender will stay with Zaragoza on loan next season, per Onda Cero, something that was key for them. FC Barcelona wanted to sign Vallejo, as Heraldo de Aragón reported this morning, but Real Madrid will be the one club to land one of the most promising players in Spanish football.
Managing Madrid reported Real Madrid's interest in Vallejo in early July, when the player was ready to play in the U19 Eurocup. Spain won the tournament, he was the captain and his performances did not disappoint.
It'd be fair to name Vallejo as one player that could dominate the position if he fulfills his potential. Real Madrid have also signed Marco Asensio, yet another highlighted player in the U19 Spanish national team. Asensio will also spend next season on loan, either with Betis or Espanyol.
